About us

Dream of Kalamazoo Foundation is an organization that renders multiple professional services, including but not limited to hair services, barbering services, and a myriad of benefits within the beauty/health and wellness industry. We aim to provide quality professional services to youth in the foster and adoptive system within Kalamazoo & Calhoun areas. We contend that many mothers and fathers are fostering youth from different ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds and need professional assistance in implementing good styling and hair care.

Life has put youth in situations over which they have no control. At Dream of Kalamazoo Foundation, we understand and dedicate efforts to solving real-time challenges experienced by being in the foster and adoption system. Through this work we seek to impact the foster care/adoptive home experience in six ways, by increasing: cultural diversity, guardian and youth education, health and wellness,
self-reliance, family engagement and early childhood and youth development.
